The “Dogs for Freedom” Rally is an opportunity to celebrate the pet dogs in our lives and oppose the prospect that anyone would try to prohibit, remove and destroy them.

Unfortunately, that prospect is all too real thanks to one of the many intolerable provisions of “sharia,” authoritative Islam’s totalitarian political ideology that is increasingly being insinuated stealthily into Texas.

The good news is that there is Proposition 10 on the Republican primary ballot that says “Texas should prohibit sharia law.” Cruelty to animals and utter disregard for the attachment millions of Americans have to their canine “best friends,” are among the reasons why eligible voters – whether Republicans, Democrats or Independents – should vote in this open primary to say “Yes” to Prop 10, and “No” to sharia.
